Meet Kinley Tareena Gates! Okay, so you can't exactly meet her yet, but this is as close as we can get until she arrives in late June! (Official due date is June 29th.) We cannot even begin to express the joy we have felt since we learned on Sunday that we will be the adoptive parents to this beautiful little miracle. Both Scott and I were able to take part in our first ultrasound yesterday and hear the heartbeat of our baby girl. It was truly an amazing moment, and such an awesome answer to years of prayer. We are so excited to begin our journey as parents. The timing feels so right, and is a perfect affirmation that God has had a great plan in mind for our family all along. We still have so much to learn, but we are so grateful for the lessons in submission and patience that God has taught us throughout this journey. Now we have just three more months of waiting! Wow...that's not much time! We have begun preparations to welcome Kinley into our home in June, including starting the adoption process through Christian Family Care.
